August 2015 in Review

August 2015 was one of the greatest months of my life. It was a month of firsts, I took a plane for the first time, I went to Europe for the first time, I was on my own for the first time. I will be forever thankful for the opportunity to go to the Locarno International Film Festival as a part of the Critics Academy, it was an invaluable learning and growing experience for me. I saw so many fantastic films and met even more great people. If you want to check out all my writing from Locarno be sure to check it out here. Beyond Locarno, August has been a month of re-invigoration. I feel like my passion for cinema has been re-ignited and I am ready to tackle the world. Have a look at some of my highlights from the month.
